These guidelines apply to everyone who uses JobRivet, wherever you are. They work alongside our Terms of Service.
Post accurate job descriptions, budgets and photos. Pros: only list credentials, licenses and insurance you actually hold, and keep them current. Fake or misleading listings, bids, profiles or reviews may be removed and accounts suspended.
Treat everyone with courtesy. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats or abuse — in listings, bids, messages or reviews. JobRivet is open to everyone, everywhere, and discriminatory content of any kind is not allowed.
Only post work that is legal where it will be performed. Do not post jobs requiring a license unless you are prepared to verify one, and do not bid on work you are not qualified or licensed to perform. Follow local permit, building-code and safety rules.
Use JobRivet messaging and bidding to arrange work. Do not use listings or chats to spam, advertise unrelated services, or harvest contact details. Sharing contact info to arrange a job is fine; scraping or mass-soliciting is not.
Reviews must come from real, completed jobs and reflect your genuine experience. Do not post reviews for pay, retaliate with false reviews, or pressure anyone to change one.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these guidelines, with or without warning depending on severity. If you see something that violates these rules, report it to support.
