This policy explains what information JobRivet collects and how it is used.
Account details (name, email), profile details you add (trades, business name, website, credentials, photos), jobs, bids, messages and photos you post, approximate location you choose to share, and basic usage data.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
To run the marketplace: show listings to nearby Pros, deliver messages and notifications, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the service. Job matching may use AI to rank listings for Pros.
Your public profile, reviews and live job listings are visible to other users. Map locations are shown as approximate areas, never exact addresses. Chats and chat photos are private to their participants.
We share data only with service providers that help run JobRivet (hosting, payments, email, maps, AI), when required by law, or to protect users. We do not sell your personal information.
You can edit your profile, turn off location sharing in your browser, archive chats and request account deletion by contacting support. Some records (like completed job history and payment records) may be kept as required by law.
JobRivet is used wherever people live and work. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, and we take steps to protect it wherever it is handled.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights (such as access, correction, deletion or portability of your data). We honor those rights as required by the law that applies to you — contact support to exercise them.
We use access controls and encryption in transit to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.
We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes.
